The circle of life

I've been pondering the circle of life this week, as I've lost my dear Uncle Jimmy to a rare, horrible lung disease. He was only 60 and I'm really sad today as they have the funeral without me there. He was such a fun-loving good 'ole boy who loved his family and especially his dogs! My little boy adored him when we went to visit him this spring, wanting to be like Uncle Jimmy and wear cowboy boots and hat. He definitely reminded me of those Old Western heroes as I was growing up. I'm going to miss you, but I do hope you having a heck of a time up there with Pa and Ike!

So sorry for your loss. I have an uncle like this, too (who's been fighting cancer for several years now) and I dread the day when I get the news that he's gone. Some people leave special marks on our life and it sounds like your uncle was one of those people. *hugs*
